Alysoun is the owner, proprietor and chief bottle washer of “A Dog’s Life”, and has been training animals large and small for over 30 years.   In that time she has worked around the world for clients like the New York and Vancouver Aquariums, Zoo of Madrid, Circus Vargas, Animal Actors of Hollywood, Marine World Africa U.S.A. and many more.    Late in the year 2000 she settled down in Green Valley Arizona to be near family and have a place to call her own.  Not long after finding that “little slice of desert heaven”, assorted animals began finding it too and the menagerie just grew.  Soon the hours spent with pets and property overshadowed the time needed to do anything else, and thus a new business was born.  It was a short, happy jump back to full time animal care and training from the home, and it’s been “A Dog’s Life” ever since.

Alysoun is a nationally certified veterinary technician, with a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Policy, and Associate Science Degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management from Moorpark Jr. College.  Even more important than that, she knows how to care for and motivate your pet to get the behavioral results you want in a way that is fun and rewarding—for both of you.
